We've been watching Linus Tech Tips for over a month now and I decided to check out what goes on here. Which sub-forum should I go to to to ask questions about builds and parts? Because only a few months ago I got into computer components. I guess I'm not supposed to talk about that here though.

I guess to introduce myself I am Joseph Korczakowski. I would probably be described as Efficient, Righteous and a Utilitarian. I'm a bit of a military history buff. Archery, Soccer, Esports and PingPong are my favorite sports. For video games I have my 3DS and my PC. On 3DS I play Pokemon, Animal crossing and Tetris. On PC I would probably say my favorite games are:

Runescape,

World of Tanks,

Planetside 2,

Minecraft,

Garry's Mod,

Counter Strike Global Offensive,

Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe,

Team Fortress 2,

Halo Combat Evolved,

And some games on a GBA emulator.

Games I want to try are:

Rocket League,

Civilization V,

LOL or Dota2

and whichever Borderlands game is considered most popular.

Hello and welcome to the forums :D For future reference, please follow the threads you make, the button is above the orange one in the top right of the page. As for your question about subforums, look for the 'New Builds and Planning' subforum nearish to the bottom of the main page.

If you're talking about lots of components in a single post(like a rundown of all the components found in a typical build), General Discussion should be fine. If you're talking about a specific build you would like reviewed, you can post in New Builds and Planning.

Hey buddy, with regards to LoL and Dota 2, Go with the one your friends play. If none of your mates play either, then go with Dota 2. Its got a bit of a learning curve but its, in my opinion, the superior game.
