So I live stream on Twitch tv and they require a 16:9 aspect ratio and i have just brought a 2560:1080 21:9 monitor and i was wondering what i could do to downscale it or change the resolution so that they are not black boarders around the screen when viewing the stream. If any one could help that would be great i have been trying all day to figure this out!

You can play on 1080p and have black bars on the side of your own monitor or you could games in 2560x1080 and make it fit in 1920x1080.. which will look weird

(Just take a screenshot from a game, put it in paint and make it less wide. it will look weird and cropped up)

there is just no perfect solution for this :(

Well.. Unless you can in 1080p.. Be able to move the game window (run borderless windowed) to the left side of your screen and use the big black bar on the right.. To put your chat so you can easily see it there. Eh? Does this sound like a decent solution?
