So I've been using my build for a few weeks now, no issues apart from the fact the fact that my case's 2.0 USB ports aren't working - help would be appreciated, it could be even this thing that I'm about to tell you about. FYI my case is Fractal Define R5 - and since I was building it from the beginning I saw this cable but people just didn't know what to tell me about it - strange I know. So it could be a Sata Power Cable, but what's it powering? This is the reason I think my 2.0 ports aren't working. I'll leave an imgur link with the photo, sorry it's bad xD I was holding a torch in my mouth, an ipad in my right hand and holding the cable in my left :P http://imgur.com/5VNzgI9

since i own a define R5 myself.

I did not plug in that cable into anything and my usb ports work just fine, if you just have plugged in the USB 2.0 header it should workusb3pic3.jpg

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

That should be the power to the fan controller, if it is the same as my arc mini

Hmm. Alright then.

As for the USB 3.0 connector, make sure it us plugged in ALL the way. Its pretty easy to not plug it in fully.

Yeah, that's definitely in, 3.0 works fine. And I've found the issue;

since i own a define R5 myself.

It was basically that the 2.0 header was basically invisible because it was surrounded in my power leads xD I had to lift my desk - more like attempted lifting and actually scraping across the carpet - because with 2 monitors and an entire PC, it's one heavy mother-fcking desk.
