Messing with baseclock = computer not turning on?

Coaxialgamer

So i was in my bios. I set my BCLOCK to 125 and my ratio to 37.

Restarted the system, now i get no signal. The computer starts, i get stuck on error code 72 :"Southbridge devices initialization "

. I tried resetting cmos, reseating ram, and using igpu, but it doesnt work. Any help?

The max BCLOCK possible I've seen is 107. 125 might have forced a rather unpleasant surge.

Unplug your power cable. Hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Ensure that CMOS has been cleared, plug it back in, try it again. Let me know if it works.

Jeez man

125?

Unplug your PSU, reboot after 30 seconds or so, use one ram stick, ensure the CMOS battery isn't in

Pray to deity of choice

Isnt 125 the default Bclock when using xmp?

No. XMP will dictate which memory strap it uses. BCLK is not to be touched. It will impact ram speed if touched, and goes beyond XMP settings.

Would the motherboard be the damaged component?

It seems to be a Southbridge issue.

Ok, just a question. Since this seems to be a Southbridge issue, does that mean it is a mobo or cpu issue?

I heard something about the southbridge being moved to to the cpu. Is this true?

Ive already located a motherboard deal, but would replacing the motherboard help?
