Custom GPU Backplate

So i have a MSI gtx 950 Gaming 2G which doesnt have a backplate. I have a big problem of dust accumulation in my house as well as inside the pc... this dust creates a layer on the bare pcb of the GPU which is really hard to clean out...so i was thinking of a cheap solution to cover the pcb up using a card board cutout with proper spacing and some vents...is that a good idea? i have run some preliminary tests by using a piece of paper to cover the pcb and running furmark...temp doesnt really change from uncovered one...

dont put cardboard on something that gets over 80C

its a fire hazard and an insulator and will make your temps go even higher

Dont use anything that can start a fire easy. At least use some decent plastic. Temps would probably not difference that much with plastic on but I cant tell for sure since I havent tried. (Get some plastic that wont melt at high temp)
