Heaven and Valley cap their framerate at the screen's refresh rate, I don't think you need to have V-sync on. Or maybe it is V-sync doing it and I got it wrong.

Edit: I'm blind! So you're getting a max of 100 with your screen capped at 60? Yes then it's probably V-sync, my bad.

 

 

Well, 4K is very demanding. Could just mean your VRAM isn't enough.

There's your answer right there 4K at max settings is challenging even for your beefy 980ti's.

 

Your score looks much more similar to the OP's now. I'm willing to take a bet that if you enable V-sync in Nvidia control panel, you are going to get about the same results as him.

Just out of curiosity, I tested my 960+i5 4460 on Valleys(Extreme HD) and got

 

FPS: 39.3

 

Score: 1646

 

Min: 21.3

 

Max: 71.4
