Hi guys,

Looking at getting some new fans for my rads. I'm using 30mm thick Black Ice rads and I was looking at either the Corsair SP120 Red LED fans or the Silverstone Air Penetrator Red LED fans. I did consider the Phobya Eloops but they are a bit more expensive than I would like to pay for fans.

So pretty much the options are corsair SP LED fans or the Silverstone fans.

Custom PC:

Intel Core i7 5960X GTX1080 Strix | 64gb 2400mhz DDR4 Corsair Vengeance Ram | Samsung S951 256gb M.2 | 4TB WD Blue SSHD | EVGA Supernova G2 1300watt PSU | Acer XB270HU | Corsair K95 RGB | Corsair M65 RGB |

Their both really good cant go wrong with either one . I assume the corsair ones are a little better however. I own the silverstone ones and i love it . They get the job done and only 22,5DB

That is really low for pressure optimised fans. The leds on this fans cover the whole fan so the fan itself is silver/transparent and the led is blue i think they come in other colors  too.

Il say just take whichever is cheapest their both really good.

For static pressure LED based fans how about the Riing fans they are pretty good and look really nice:

They look cool but here in the UK they are about £12 each which is about $17 and also don't they have an inverter box or is that just the RGB one's?

I believe that is only the RGB ones that uses the control hub since they are 5 pins, for single colored ones they work as regular fans, and yeah a bit more pricey.

I've just noticed something with one of my rad, The 140mm rad wont fit in the back of the case so I'm gonna have to change it for a 120mm :(

A little bit of Dremling to the fan frame never hurt  :D, maximum cooling!!!

Problem Solved if I mount it push pull the fans make it stick out enough to get it away from the frame. is ok to use two af fans on a 140mm in the back for now? will probably change them to SP 140mm LEDs later on but they are super expensive here

Airflow fans will work but are less efficient at pushing air through a rad, if it's not overly thick or have high FPI with a push/pull it should still perform quite well.

The case came with a couple AF140L LED fans so I thought I would use them for now in push pull or maybe just pull depends how everything else fits now lol
