Xeon e5 2560 with gtx960

Hey guys

Would like to get your opinion on this setup. My friend currently has a Xeon e5 2560 @ 2ghz and has a gTX 650. He''s looking into upgrading but due to budget constraints he can only afford a gtx960. He is running 16 gb of ram so do you think the processor would bottleneck the 960? He wants to be able to run games like gta5 and said he wouldn't mind getting a 760 if it bottlenecks

He won an auction that came with the whole pc built already haha just wondering because someone told me that Xeons aren't great for gaming but more so rendering due to low clock speed and high amount of cores

why the hell did your friend get an 8 core xeon lol

No, that CPU will be fine with even a 980 Ti.

Wouldn't say so. It's a 2GHz CPU

Still on par with an FX-8320.

Which would bottleneck a 980ti
