Logitech G502 is used by a LARGE majority I STRONGLY recommend it.  The software is easy to use(You can even script your commands) and on top of that an RGB version is coming out because <Insert Buzz LightYear meme here> RGB's, RGB's everywhere

I would recommend the G502. It has a really solid feel to it, well placed buttons, and remains comfortable after long periods of use.

Inb4, everyone recommends G502 for no reason.  Edit: I was late

G502 is great and all, and it is a good mouse for most things, but yeah... People blindly suggest it.

I got mine for $25

I'm going to recommend the mouse no one talks about. Cooler Master Mizar, or Steelseries rival. The rival is the better choice.

I like my g502 but I would give it 9/10 cuz a bit heavy for twitch shots and a bit slim for my liking

Other options would be rival 100/300 but the 300 is even heavier and no palm rest

Razer quality is shit

Roccat makes good mice, Zowie too

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

It's a really solid mouse, but most people need to understand that you can't just suggest it without knowing OPs needs and preferences.

I do talk a lot about the Rival. I absolutely love mine - fits like a glove for me and is really solid. The Mizar is a pretty nice budget mouse too, kinda similar to the legendary IE3.

The Rival 300 is around 105g without the cable, which is 16 grams less than the G502. It's almost on the limit, but I find the weight to be perfectly balanced so it's not really an issue.

Not really. Laser sensors are inferior compared to optical for FPS games due to the build in acceleration.

Apparently my rat 3 has a optical sensor so is there much point in getting a new one if there's nothing wrong with it ?

It has a decent optical sensor. If it's not broken and you find it comfortable, there's no reason to change.

I have it and its beyond brilliant.

I have a small-ish hand so i find the back and fourth buttons a bit un-ergonomic. But the average size hand would be fine with it.
