i have a 4770k not overclocked with a cooler master 212 evo, i seem to sit around 27c at idle, and at about 50c under load(cinabench) would it be worth it to get and AIO? i was thinking of getting the Cooler Master 240m(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6J33RM3156&ignorebbr=1) also note that i dont have much heat in my room in the winter and not much AC in the summer, i live in NYC so it gets very hot in summer and very cold in winter. would i see improved temps? and if i use my MOBO fan controllers can i make it relativity quite?

You don't need anything other than the stock cooler if you aren't overclocking tbh.

Buuuut, if you just want something that looks cool then sure, get it.

I wouldn't bother.

You wouldn't utilise the cooler nearly as effectively as you would if you overclocked the CPU, and considering how that cooler seems to keep your CPU at 50 degrees Celsius under load in Cinebench......it'd be a waste, to be honest.

wouldn't be bad to go for a watercooling system, but i don't think you need it at all, your temps are really good. spend your money on something else, maybe more rams, or a better ssd. but if you want a better cooling just get the cm 412slim or the cm 612, and maybe some system fans.

i already have 32gigs of RAM, and an SSD boot, i'm going to get a 980 TI and was thinking of grabing the cooler if i would see some improvment

I would pass on the AIO if I were you. I was looking into either doing a custom loop or AIO, but I am already cool enough on air while overclocked. The temperatures you are seeing with the 212 are great. Use the money you would have spent on the AIO on a nice upgrade elsewhere.

not really, cause your temps are already good. if you really think you want it, go with the h110i gtx, it's a bit cheaper and it will give the same results as the nepton240m

i have a suggestion since you're getting a 980ti, get a good watercooling system, and buy a waterblock for the 980ti and attach them together so you get better gpu temps

i was thinking that, probably just better to save up and do a custom loop
