What are some good speakers for around 0-200$? I need a sub-woofer too.

Klipsch PM2.1, Corsair SP2500......whichever is cheaper, both are great sounding. I own the former, and have auditioned the latter.

I can't say for sure, but in my neck of the woods, I can find brand new sets of it.....if it's hard to find, the SP2500 would be just as good, perhaps even better.

If you want Logitech, the Z623 THX certified 2.1 is pretty decent, at ~150USD

There are some decent 2.1's for <100USD, but it'd be best for you, if possible, to go audition them yourself. Sound appreciation is so subjective, and a lot has to do with personal preference.

I'm running logitech x240's and I haven't heard any better speakers yet--even the more expensive ones my friends have.

You can find them used for $20 on amazon and they sound better than even some of the newer revisions.

As everyone said above Logitech is amazing I own pair of z2300 and my nabors come out side trying to figure out why their house is shaking the only thing you might want to watch out for is mine have no highs to them so I linked to systems together for amazing performance

I auditioned both a long with several other speakers. Of those 2 in my opinion the Klipsch sound better. As a general rule of thumb real speaker companies make better sounding speakers...experience counts.

well, $200 is a decent amount for computer speakers, it's also enough for overkill.

I don't like "computer" speakers and I like overkill
