How much RAM supported?

Guest
Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit at the minimum.

I've heard that Windows 7 Home Premium can only support up to 16GB of RAM - I want to have the option to be able to upgrade to more RAM in the future. Question is, which version of windows 7 should I buy? I want support for up to 32GB of RAM. Thanks :)

Professional will do the job. Ultimate is a waste of money if you just want 32GB ram.
