First gaming pc

Go to solution Solved by rafazafar,

Hi I want to build a system by myself and I want your opinion:

Msi 970 gaming motherboard

Amd fx 8320

Cooler master hyper 212 evo

Corsair vengeance pro 16gb 2400

Corsair cx 500w 80+

Seagate barracuda

Evga 970 ftw edition

Corsair 200r atx midi tower

I also want to know if it worthy for custom water cooling

Thank you ☺

That cpu needs to be OC to not hinder the GPU.

Custom watercooling is not worth the price, budget AIO is ok.

Ram speed is also too much, unless you are getting it cheap, change to normal 1600 rams.

Your build will cost slightly more than a i5 4460+h81 build. So hmm...

If you want to experiment around with AMD sure , but u may need a better cooler to push the CPU furthur.

If you just want to have a good easy computer build, get an intel based.

i recommend

H81 motherboard with usb3 header.

Intel i5 4460

Whatever normal 1600 ddr3 ram

Antec/Seasonic/EVGA psu 500w and above (450w for gold) (550w for r9 390 gpu)

Seagate barracuda

Evga 970 ftw edition

Corsair 200r atx midi tower

If i know where you live its easier to recommend.

You'll see some bottlenecks if you pair that CPU and GPU together. Custom watercooling is going to set you back 1K or so. Not worth it for a build like this.

Change out the PSU as well. Something from SeaSonic/XFX would do better.

What's your budget?

EDIT: Wrong RAM as well lol

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

No.

1) Don't use AMD CPU's

2) Don't use CX PSU's

3) RAM is incompatible with the motherboard

A little harsh is it not?

For a budget build you cant beat them IMO.
