Is there anywhere in the uk where people take there systems and meet up to play games together ?

I no u can play online but is there any like social groups that meet up and play as teams and stuff like that ?

it's called a lan. Just google and maybe you can find one near you. Or do it yourself with a couple of friends?

just google for open lan parties near you. should be quite a few in the UK!

I ran a lan in my last year town hall (i live in UK), the site manager looked at me like i was crazy turning up with switches, ethernet cables, monitors and a slushie machine. (might not have told her precisely what i was doing)

We got 35 people and made a (small) profit. I wouldnt do it again as it was quite a lot of stress,

Probably not, it was only able to work because I had my German cousin was over (who does networking) otherwise I could set it all up

I'm pretty good with networking, would only need a 40 switch board
