Hey guys, I'm beginning to plan my new build for the next few years.

I built my current PC in 2013 and my i3 and 7950 combo doesn't feel as strong as it did back in the day.
I have a few options for my new build, I recently purchased a 2x8 GB kit of ddr3 for pretty cheap, and I have an old G1.Sniper B5 mobo laying around that I could use for an 1150 build, though I was wondering at this point with my budget, would I be better off selling my new ram (it's the PNY xlr8 ram and I got it for only 90 AUD) and go with a new skylake build?

I'm not sure what components I'd actually like, though I would enjoy some basic water cooling.
I'm thinking Skylake i5 + 390x/R9 Fury? + 16GB ddr4 - I'd go for an nvidia card though AMD usually has cheaper cards for the same performance.

I'm not really sure, please leave me your thoughts and ideas on a good build path :)

If you have the LGA 1150 board I would just buy an i5 4690k for it and put the rest of the budget into a better GPU.
