Are MSI good guys?

Is the voltage on the MSI R9 390 GAMING 8G unlocked? And will the warranty be voided by removal of the cooler?

General rule of thumb, don't water cool non reference cards..

But MSI is cool, most of the time.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Oh god. Oh god. Must not make mean comment about this.

BUT anyways

please dont act like this, it makes your self-seem uneducated, a console peasant or 9 years old.

But yes MSI makes good cards and you can remove the cooler from it to water cool it. But water cooling is a big step, its hard and takes work, you need to always care for it, if you set it up and just let it go you will for sure break it or something else. Watercooling and pc build in general is like caring for a really expensive and hot baby of your own.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

Yes, the voltage is unlocked. AFAIK, it will not void your warranty by removing the cooler.

Yeah. IDK how it is with AMD but Nvidia partners can move the GPU around from where it is normally and so it won't line up with water blocks and such.

For nvidia for watercooling, it's simple : GO reference or Go Home.

I think AMD might be the same but you've got to check.

EK will be making a full cover block specifically for the MSI variant of the R9 390 from the middle of February, so it'll definitely fit :)

Oh ok. Then you're probably good. Just make sure to put the MSI warranty sticker back on (it covers a screw on the back plate).  and don't screw it up.

If you don't break anything they're usually inclined to honor warranty.

Yes. And MSI is probably the best company overall with warranties when it comes to GPUs. The cooler sticker doesn't matter too much as long as you don't screw up your card in the process so it's obvious.

"ocing over 90000". Yeah. If you mean spending $100+ just to get 100mhz more on one of the worst overclocking cards other than the Fury series. Good luck with that.
