I know that the GPUs with PCIe 4 will not be compatible with MB PCIe 3, but will be also available high end models graphics cards in 2017-2019 with the PCIe 3.0 standard? I really dont want to change my system in the next 5 years, just the GPU :(

Spoiler

PCIe 4 cards will not be compatible with PCIe 3 slots, but PCIe 3 cards will work with 4 slots

How do you know that pcie4 will not be backwards compatible?

"PCI Express 4.0 will utilize a new connector, but the specification will be backward compatible mechanically and electrically with PCI Express 3.0, which means that it will be possible to use today’s add-in-cards in PCIe 4.0-based systems, but future AICs will not work with PCIe 3.0."

PCIe4 hasn't even been standardized yet. It is expected to launch at the end of this year. I wouldn't worry though, as current GPU's are barely  maxing PCIe 2.0 and we'll have a few more years before there's a need for PCIe 4.0 in the GPU area

I think that it will be the same as back in the old days, when we were swithing AGP to PCIe. Cards were released in bot versions. However, since PCIe3 works in PCIe4, motherboard will have PCIe4 only, where as GPUs will be PCIe3. I guess there will be at least 3 year period when top end GPUs will be available in PCIe3 versions.
