Windows 7 OEM on another PC

I know it's possible but how do I do it? The motherboard (MSI H81m-E34) detects it and I can read all the files in Ubuntu but in the boot menu, I cant see the drive. It only shows the Ubuntu drive. Is it because my boot is set to UEFI? The area where it says that is shaded as well. Thanks

You may have to change boot priority in the bios so that it doesn't use the drive with Ubuntu on it.

EDIT:oops my reading comprehension is horable pre-coffee.

If you could give bit more information. Are you trying to boot into HDD with windows already installed from previous system. Or are you trying to install windows again and using removable boot device?

What happens when you select that drive as 1st boot device or force boot on it?

Generally Win7 doesn't like when you change mobo.

I cant even select it as a boot device. I know the mobo detects it because I can see the drive in the board explorer
