ASUS X99-A CPU Fan Error

MIIIK

Hey Guys,

just got my New PC. Everything seems to work fine - Nearly everything...

When i boot up the PC i can read the "CPU FAN ERROR". I fixed it with Ignoring ir in the BIOS

but i do want to fix it correctly. My Software can not read the Fan Speed and i do want it to

control it and got a correct readout.

Anything i can do ? I do not want to "IGNORE" it in the BIOS.

System:

i7 5820K

ASUS X99-A

Palit GTX 980Ti

16 GB G.Skill RipJaw 4

600 Watt be quiet! Straight Power 10 80+ Gold

Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU Fan

Crucial BX100

WD 2TB Black

Best Wishes

Mike

Welcome to the Forums!

Make sure in the BIOS that the fan curve on the CPU header isn't tuned too low to the point where the fan can barely start or give a proper RPM level.
