Ok, so I tunred on my PC today....watched a bit of youtube....and bam. My start button no longer works....neither does my notification panel.....now what? I have already tried a restart and it didnt fix it.

Maybe it's your keyboard, try just clicking the Start Menu.

Maybe it's your keyboard, try just clicking the Start Menu.

That is so obvious that its almost insulting......

I've had the exact same issue, I just reset the OS. I didn't have much installed anyway but after it was all good.

But I have so much on my PC.....I dont want to install about 300GB of stuff again

go to taskmanager and end explorer.exe process and see if that works.

Ok.......so after a few restarts and nearly shitting my pants......I right clicked the start button......and there was an option to update.....clicked it.....start menu works now......thanks MS.....
