Sounds like your first flash drive is broken... does it work for other stuff?

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

Some flash drives can't be booted from. I've had some drives that work just fine for storage, but won't become bootable, no matter what I tried. 

 

EDIT: Something you could try is going into Disk Management and seeing if the drive has multiple partitions. If it does, combine them all into a single partition and re-format. 

 

@Arty edited the post with something you could try. Maybe try using third party formatting programs too.

yea works just fine.

 

Some flash drives can't be booted from. I've had some drives that work just fine for storage, but won't become bootable, no matter what I tried.

Linux Gpart 

Minitool

Ah, it's a SanDisk drive? Did it have their weird "vault" security thing? I've got once of those drives that can't be booted from. 

 

Nope

it didn't have any of that thrid party stuff on it.

Try to use rufus to create a bootable usb 

tryed no luck
