500 dollar computer

I have recently researched my ass off for some good and cheap computer parts that I would need to build a gaming computer. I didn't try to look at craigslist deals because I'm more comfortable with new parts. I already have a 750 gb hard drive (Yes I realize that's not very big but i took it out of my old computer,) as well as a dvd drive. The total was less than $500. I still want some reassurance before I order it, so could some of you look over the parts?

The list is below:

16 gb Ram (8x2)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006YG9EEW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

GPU

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016TZUPSQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

CPU

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CPLGFME?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_5&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Case

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EFA7LV2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Power Supply

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CZMPR8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=AEHA1AAWZIC3L

Motherboard (I thought micros could work fine to be honest)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DQO9L1Q?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_6&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Ps, I thoroughly calculated the wattage for the power supply, but I was thinking of overclocking the CPU a little bit, the GPU already being overclocked.

I would advise putting everything into a PCPartPicker list

You don't need 16GB of RAM.

Get a R9-380.

CPU is bad.

Case is ugly.

PSU will explode.

Motherboard is OK.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

I'd go for an EVGA/XFX or other known brand PSU. Don't get that PSU. 500W @ $29 is just asking for trouble.

You could try get a slightly better CPU.

You should also be able to get a much higher quality case for that price.

Other members have posted pcpartpicker lists, i'd recommend checking those out :D

Well, there's no point in buying it since its AMD rival, the R9 380, provides much better performance at a similar price.

No, the CPU I gave you, when paired with the R9 380, should run absolutely fine in all benchmarks.

Thank you so much. I'm assuming it can be overclocked as well? Sorry I want to be sure. I play League of Legends a lot, but I was thinking of getting Shadow of Mordor if the comp could run it.

You're going to want to turn off mail in rebates

otherwise, that would need an 860K, and no cooler, if you meant to overclock with that you want an 88X board and a high end board at that, not worth doing for FM2+
