Z170-DELUXE SATA OS Drive Ports

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

I'm assuming they're the SATA 3 ports running on the Intel controller. Use either, it doesn't matter.

Hi, :)

My motherboard (ASUS Z170-DELUXE) has a sticker on 2 of the Intel SATA ports that says "OS Drive". The problem is I don't know which port because there's 2 on top of each other and there's a sticker on the top. Which port should I use? The top one or the bottom one?

I know that all the ones that are gray are Intel and the black ones are ASMedia.

OK it's plugged into the top one.

THANKS! :)
