Sapphire has by far the best cooler
XFX is also solid
Gigabrick is awful

they don't let you take the cooler off

I prefer sapphire, though xfx is also a good brand.

I'll tell you from first hand experience my sapphire NITRO 390 ran 54°C at max load at 1080p, and 64°C max at 1440p.

Not sure what the xfx has to offer with cooling.

i would go with the sapphire card...had good luck with them in the past.

Sapphire. Load temps seem to be in the 60s with reasonable noise. 

Current PC: Origin Millennium- i7 5820K @4.0GHz | GTX 980Ti SLI | X99 Deluxe

I just picked up an XFX R9 390 at it has coil whine like no other. (for 270 shipped, was stoked) 

 

Also blows at OC'ing. Silicon lottery might have been bad, but that's my experience. But, I have been really happy running it stock (having some other troubleshooting problems and removing as many variables as possible). 

 

I'd probably buy it again.
