80mm Case fans

Vespid

Hey guys,

I'm building a budget pc with an AMD x4 860k and a gtx 750 2gb (non ti).

I have a case that my brother gave me but it has no fans.

It has 2 80mm in the back, 1 80mm in on the side (and a 120mm in the front but the front panel is right in front of it, is it usable?)

I was wondering how many fans I needed and where? I'm also open to suggestion to some good BUDGET case fans! :)

Three at most, but you can get away with two if you get good fans since the 750 is good on cooling.

You'd need one on the front, generally, and then one in the back.

You're also not going to find "good" 80mm fans on a budget, but here are my suggestions.

Most expensive/best ones you can get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2W03KG5832&cm_re=80mm_fan-_-35-608-069-_-Product

Mid-expensive/average performance: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608056&cm_re=80mm_fan-_-35-608-056-_-Product

I wouldn't go any lower than this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835352004&cm_re=80mm_fan-_-35-352-004-_-Product

In the front there is only the 120mm one but I'm not sure it is usable because it's right behind the front panel. Would it be able to get air?

Can you take a picture of the case? They wouldn't put a fan grill there if it wouldn't suck in air, unless it's an overpriced Corsair case (#shotsfired)

Lol. Wow.

Okay so, what I would do is save a few bucks and just buy a new case. How much would you be able to scrap up, you think?

Get this case. It comes with all the fans you need already configured where they need to be.

If you have Micro ATX: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BTQD40W/?tag=pcp0f-21

If your motherboard is ATX and not Micro ATX, get the N300 instead - you can pick the case models on the same page.

Alright thanks for your time and help! :) The N200 looks perfect for me (I have the Asus A88XM-E Micro-ATX)

For 80mm fans, I use Noctua Reduxes. They're cheaper then their more expensive counterparts, and look cooler.

seriously, before you spend ~30 to 40 bucks on fans for that case, get a decent MidTower that comes with 2 or 3 fans, even if it means saving a few bucks more^^

Use drillbits and dremmels to open new fan holes. There are videos on youtube (even from NvIdia Showing you how to do it)
