9800 GT Build?

Samuroot1987

is this any good?

It seems like a upgrade from a E-2

Don't do it. Trust me.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

I actually have a similiar one at home! AMD Athlon X2 5600+ 2.9ghz on MSI "Neo" series board, with 3GB RAM. It used to have GT9600, but I gave it to a friend after I bought the 660 beause he needed a better GPU :D . Now it uses HD4350. Pretty beast right? A little off topic so I better move on to the actual build. Are you going to use it as a normal PC or showcase it as an antiquity?

My rig: CPU: Intel core i5 4670K MoBo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4GB 1600mhz CL9 GPU: EVGA GTX780 SC ACX SSD: ADATA Premier Pro SP900 256GBHDD: Western Digital RED 2TB PSU: FSP Aurum CM 750W Case: Cooler Master HAF XM OS: Windows 8 Pro

Get an APU rig

This, I believe you get a decent APU rig for around $400-500, depending on what you need.

Looks good, except I would probably get a better CPU. I'm not sure how the 9800GT performs compared to a 6800k for example. I wouldn't be surprised if the APU is faster.

The cpu is terrible.

This would be quite better. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1zbo6
