The name and Box are different obviously but what else? They are the same price, is there something small I am missing?

SATA ports

Ahh there is one. So... what was the point of releasing two of nearly exact same boards?

Regional? No idea. If it was EVGA there'd be 10 so I guess 2 isn't so bad.

Meh EVGA is a fantastic company lol, I've only ever seen them do that with GPUs. If I could I would greatly snag a EVGA z170 board though they don't have BCLK overclocking

Pretty sexy though, but yeah I wish they had BCLK overclocking.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

the pro has a darker PCB than the mate

the mate has 4pin sys fan headers, the pro has 3pin

the mate has 2 usb3.1 gen2 (10GT/s) and 4 usb3.1 gen1 (5GT/s)

the pro has 0 usb3.1 gen 2 and 4 usb 3.1 gen1

edit: and the mate includes your 2 pci slots (Oshino mentioned that)
