I would like to make a pc with 1/2 xeon processors including everything except graphics card. The pc should cost max 1000$ and i will be adding samsung 950 pro 256gb so that's minus 200$. I don't care if it has new or old processors and its going to be used for gaming, so it needs a relatively high frequency.

high frequency does not mean it will be good at gaming

 

and you should not be buying multiple xeons if youre building a gaming PC

Side note: Many motherboards with support for dual-socket Xeons do not support SLI. This may be important or not in this case, but just FYI.

Pretty much any Quad Core Intel Chip at 3ghz or higher is enough for gaming, this has a larger SSD
