I'm looking to have 2 GPUs in SLI. I just want to check that these 2 cards would work together and work as they are intended to under full load with a 650W power supply.

Card 1 - EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 - https://www.pccasegear.com/products/29313

Card 2 - EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+ - http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3975-KR

Power Supply - Corsair RM650 - http://www.corsair.com/en/rm-series-rm650-80-plus-gold-certified-power-supply

Thanks

They would but sli 970s is dumb, get a 980ti or if you NEED 2 GPUs get 2 390s

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

GTX 980Ti performs the same, generates less heat, uses less power, and has 6GB of VRAM.

Please don't do GTX 970 SLI.

One single faster card is always better than two slower ones, but if you already own a 970 and need more performance, they will work.

They have a 650w power supply, why would they put themselves in a position to have to buy two cards and a PSU when they can buy just one GPU?

OP, you're somewhat limited in VRAM by using those two 970s in SLI but it would work. Selling the 970 you have and getting a 980ti is an option too. What resolution do you plan on gaming at over the next year or two?

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Yes I have 1 970 already. The 1 under card 1. But will the 650W power supply affect the preformance of both the cards at all?

PSU´s have no impact on the Performance itsself. They deliver enough Power or they dont. In your Case everything should run just fine.

Ok so if I don't do any heavy overclocks and I leave everything how it is in this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xRCx7P and just add Card 2 to the build everything should be fine?

Well. No overclocking would be the best. Since outside of stock clocks can make power consumption shoot up(not too drastically) And you only have a 650w unit so not much of a headroom there. Your system will run fine on stock.
