i5-6600 non K cooling suggestions?!

Hello Guys!

I have just bought an Intel i5-6600 non K processor. Right now i am running it with the stock cooler. Even thoguh, almost everyone suggested a R9 390 next to it, i will buy a GTX 970. I will use it for gaming.

I need your help with the cooling. I really wanna go for a liquid cooling system. What kind of liquid cooler would you suggest for that processor? Or an Air cooler if the liquid is not necesarry?

(Other factor is that right now i have an old, really old case. Planning to buy the NZXT s340.)

My budget is no more than 100 US dollars.

Thanks for your help,

Norbert

Liquid cooling is in no way needed for a locked cpu. 212 evo will do fine.

Non-overclockable CPU' s do not require anything other than a stock cooler.

And please, PLEASE don't fanboy out... Buy a 390, the performance is worth the savings.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Keep stock cooler and push for GTX 980, R9 Fury, R9 390x ;)
I'm a guy who's all about that price/performance.

I wouldn't bother with a AIO for a locked CPU.

Something cheap like a CM Hyper 212 EVO or  bequiet! Shadow Rock would do well.

HAHA, its not fanboying, i prefer NVIDIA, Shadowplay is a gr8 option for me. Hard decision really. Almost went with the AMD. But already bought a 550 W PSU, so the 390 is out. Not gonna play over 1080p, and the GTX 970 will do also nice imo.

What I'm saying that I would spent those CPU cooler dollars on a beefier GPU.

Going for silence and looks is completely fine as well. Just telling my two cents. :)

In my country the r9 390 and the gtx 970 costs the same. But the better gtx 980 is a lot more expensive. In numbers: gtx 970: 370 dollars but the gtx 980: 620 dollars . And it is just a too big step for me.
