I do not need assistance on OS, peripherals or monitors sorry for not including that in my original post. Thank you for the welcome and letting me know to follow my thread (had no idea)

I also forgot to add what country you're in so I just assumed America like the majority of people here. You didn't say a budget sooo yeahhh...

Hello. I am going to build my first gaming rig but only have bits and piece of where to begin, which is where I hope I can get some assistance from anyone and everyone here.

I most likely want to get an i5 although streaming is an interest of mine. I do not plan on playing any graphic intense games such as crysis or witcher 3. I primarily play MMOs.

debating between 4690k or 6600k. I currently do not have a budget but would not like to buy anything too excessive for 1080p gaming. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Yes, I am from America. I do not have a budget and this build looks amazing. I will hold off just to get a few more opinions. No offense in any way just want to hear from multiple mind sets

just out of curiosity what made you decide on an r9 390 over a 970. I know the overall stats are better but I heard nvidia drivers are more optimized, correct me if i am wrong

AMD drivers have gotten better over time :P Although Nvidia drivers are still better for Linux. Just make sure (if you were to go with the build I suggested) to install the latest ones c:
