I've always been a battlefield player since BF2 way back when.  I played BFBC2 until it broke and I had around 350 hours on BF3.  I think since everyone jumped off the COD bandwagon as fast as they got on, BF4 is probably going to be DIC E(A)'s biggest success, but I really hope that doesn't mean they try appeal to the COD playing style. I've always liked BF for the minute long flanks and uphill battles.  I've seen some of the BF4 gameplay and while they have upgraded the physics quality and such, it really looks like more of the same when compared to BF3, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  I don't know about you, I was ready to kill for BFBC3.  I want to know what you guys have been wanting out of it, we haven't seen any real jet gameplay (which is one of my favorite parts of the game).  Since BF3 brought a lot of people to PC gaming I was wondering if you guys will be dropping $60-$70 on it for the pre-order, I'm hoping it will come with my Never Settle Forever Bundle before the end of the year.  The intensity of the campaign looks insanely better than BF3, where in 3 I felt like it was just going through the motions of another FPS with great visuals.  COD ghost anyone?

I am actually crazy excited for Ghosts since it seems like IW really tried hard to make it a new experience without all the bullshit from older games.

Don't mean to start a COD vs BF war here but IW doesn't exist anymore any of the original staff have left and joined respawn entertainment, its just Activision being idiots as usual and not giving the (to my knowledge) only original infinity ward co-creators still making games their company name or the rights to use the name of a game they created.

also, COD changed more than it did last years now, because, well it HAD to. the next gen is coming and everyone is showing what they can do with their games with the next gen. if they would stay the same with COD what would be the point of getting it on the ps4 or xb1? just saying

I dont really mind call of duty, the lag compensation killed it for me, mw2 days were awesome. About a week ago my brother got black ops 2, i was like ZOMBIES CHARGE. Anyways the zombies mode was lacking any decent map and even with the transit bullshit everything was small and clustered. Me and my brother agreed that the multiplier was weird(he is a die hard cod fan as well). Anyways we sold that shit within 4 days of getting it.

What people dont get is that call of duty might not be perfect in our eyes but for a little kid its easy to pick up and play. They are great at advertising their games, battlefield is one of my favorite games(cant beat pokemon though) however a little kid cant play it because they want 24/7 combat and battlefield has a complex system for everything like recoil and bullet drop, you struggle to do these 360000 degree no scopes. Once the current generation grows up then they might turn to battlefield as i think it has a very rewarding feeling when you doing something correctly.

You shouldn't tell people what they can and can't play. Everyone has their own choise of playing what they like to play.

COD is for a younger audience, that is the main reason why it sells more. When we play games we calculate crap in our heads, recoil,,strategy,draw time and other little things. Battlefield requires us to think more than with call of duty. Little kids that play call of duty mainly struggle with things like maths which surprisingly helps you a bloody ton in battlefield. Luckily i played the battlefield bad company 2 beta on ps3 which got me into bf. It also got me into pcs and got bf for pc(was 3 years later that i could actually run the bloody game).
