Hi,

I have always been running an lga 775 platform, and am finally upgrading to skylake,

But i couldn't find a proper in depth tutorial for UEFI,

I'm a heavy overclocker and am comfortable with all the settings of the old BIOS but certain things like XMP and ram overclocking seem a lot more confusing on the new uefi and need help with getting my head around it.

Thanks,

Yashmit.

Just make sure that CSM (Compatibility Support Module), is disabled, if you plan to install Windows 8 or 10 on it.

And that, once you do , and install the motherboard Fast Boot utility (or if your motherboard has a button on the board to go in the UEFI directly), enable Fast Boot (boots at full speed with artificial delays, meaning you won't have time to hit the key to go in UEFI setup screen, hence the program that you install in Windows or the button (actually you can do it from Windows itself, there is a way to tell Windows to go to the UEFI after it reboots the computer)
