CD key help

Ok so i have gta 4 and i played online i had a games for windows live account. 

I had to reconfigure my computar so when i get back on i cant remember the email or password i used for GFWL
my question is if i make a new account will i still be able to play online with the same copy of gta 4 (steam)

and could i buy this (https://www.ebgames.com.au/pc-152582-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-The-Complete-Edition-PC) and use the CD key from this and use it with the game i alread bought to go online.

No you won't be able too, I think that the CD key that came with steam is tied to that account.

Maybe the best idea is to contact their support.

Yes, if you bought another key it would work fine.

You should be contacting support, you don't want to be spending another $20.

im gonna have to buy a new cd key do you know how i buy a new cd key through steam so i can put it into my new gfwl account

Seriously, is it too hard to contact their support? On topic. You need to find game from steam store, have funds on your steam wallet or valid credit card or paypal account. Add game to shopping cart, go to checkout and fill details. After first lauch steam will popup screen with your cd key. Write it down to somewhere and write it again when gfwl asks for it.

i have contacted support. They  cant do anything, I have the key problem is i cant get into my account to evan if i put the same key into a new account IT WOULD NOT WORK
