And its not a virus, all antivirus programs will think that any miner is a virus. Posted December 1, 2013 Hodor stop being so impatient, I did it and it only took less than an hour. So there was another guide like this which used GUIminer, but for me, (I have a 660TI), it couldn't recognize and I had to download CUDA stuff. After downloading the almost 1GB CUDA stuff I had to download Visual studios and after installing the correct one CUDA still couldn't recognize the right one, so I gave up on that. Turned to CUDAminer and everything is working fine now, Im also in Netcodepool and I don't know how to stop mining LOL. Can someone tell me how? Guiminer should include cudaminer, if you add another worker/card there should be a drop down menu to select between a few miners. I don't get that, I downloaded GUIminer and the device just said 660TI, there were no threads etc. midpost edit: So I added another worker and added a CUDA miner. IS the only thing you have to add is the username, password and host and then you can start? Selling my parts of my 900D rig for a jacked up Ncase M1. Your username does not have the number after it like .1 or what ever your chose with your pool. Default is usually 1. Also I see you have a long password, it is not suggested that you use a "real" password because they are easy to obtain. Using a 2x 780 @ 1200/7000 myself and getting around 460 KH/s each, my other rig is a 5970 and 2x5850 producing 1450KH/s so yeah nvidia cards can be used, but not as efficient as AMD cards.
