Windows Upgrade XXbit?

DJ46

Just a quick question here. Do Windows Upgrade licenses exist as a 32bit and a 64bit? Or one for all?

I know that. But do you have to buy a 32 bit Upgrade or a 64 bit Upgrade? Or is there only one license that ahs them both? I'm selling mine that I won on a livestream (back in the day it was a livestream) and buyer wants to know.

Looking at retailers, i believe that individual OEM copies are 32 or 64bit but upgrade copies include both.

whole post is an edit cuz i messed up =D

both and btw there is absolutely no point in installing 32bit i remember when my q6600 and this is the worst(at the bottom of the list/cheapest cpu) quad core that intel had when they first made them 5-6 years ago so if ur running something that cant run 64 bit its time for an upgrade

i think 32bit should be cut off people should be forced on to new hardware just like forcing people out of xp even if its a great os

i know that info isnt what u needed but its putting it out there so people know

edit* to answer question

yes they are all in one 64 bit comes with 32 bit installations i think this started with windows 7

I believe a single license is valid and can be used to install both 32bit and 64bit versions.
