4670k if you have a decent cpu cooler

4690 if not

So a few days ago i posted a topic asking about the i5 4460.

Since then I've made some changes to my build and am now looking at either the i5 4670k or 4690,i found a 4670k for $175 and the 4690 is $216 on amazon.

I'll be going with this board http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Intel-Micro-Motherboard-GA-Z97M-DS3H/dp/B00M3MA2TC/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1451638511&sr=1-3&keywords=lga+1150+z97+motherboard

My question is are there any issues with the 4670k aside from slightly higher temps that are bad enough to make me want a 4690.

I'm on a pretty strict budget so getting a 4690k new isn't really an option.

Go with the 4670k.

It's absolutly awesome when you get the temps under control.

Any opinions on the board i chose?

Depends on your Needs. The Asus Z97-A is a solid board and not too expensive.
