Hey, so I have been wanting to get into starcraft for a while now and I was wondering if starcraft 1 was worth getting (cheaply enough these days) for the crappy laptop I'm writing this on. 'm normally at my gaming desktop but I seem to be spending a surprising amount of time on this old thing. Do you think it's worth it for me to pick up both games? I may play the campaign but only if I cant find an online game. I'm more of an online multiplayer battler TBF.

TL:DR Should I get SC1 for my laptop or not?

Damn. I was going to get that and then forgot. I loved 1 & 2 when I played them a while back (abandonware FTW)

yes. Great games. Fantastic games. So much god damn fun.

Just prepared to have patience learning to play. both sc1 and sc2 and all expansions are great.

As for specs, neither games are that demanding. I've played on low settings with intel onboard graphics on an old dell tower. sky's the limit when it comes to blizzard games and fps.
