AMD longevity

Hey! Im about to build a 8350 build. havent bought the parts yet. I was wondering, how long can I expect an 8350 to last me before it gets outdated or dies. Im pretty worried that right after I buy my cpu amd will release the rest of their 9000 series cpu's and I will be already out of date if they are on another socket than am3+.

yeah right. don`t think that all the cores will be used for the game. 1 for menu one for etc. just like the old consoles. it only has to be x86 and thats it.every game will improve on any cpu.

well my cpu is 4 years old, and still going strong, i think that gives you a good idea.

Since the 9000 series just looks like a higher binned 8000 series I'm sure you will be fine
