Compatibility?

Im wondering if i could put a 960 into this:

Nope, power supply is too low, and also seems like a generic psu brand. (wouldn't be safe)

You're going to have to replace the PSU first.

 

It also doesn't look like it takes standard PSUs.

 

This might be what you'll have to buy from:

...and I don't see a single good PSU in there.

It's a maybe depending on the psu quality. The 960 can run on a decent good 350w just fine.

If i got the R9 380, would a 500w psu work fine?

As long as the psu is decent, yes.
