So much dust, so much cringe, so much heresy to burn....

Well it does work and my brother games on it for hours a day.

You realize that's the same rationale that people use to drive drunk. Cuz it worked before...

And still works now. I just shared my experience.

The CX is not meant for hours and hours of gaming time spent near its max rating. That's what kills them.

It's nowhere near its max rating though.

The electrics inside are safe to run up to the maximum rating. I don't see the issue.

Cheap capacitors? Well how about you look at every single other part of your computer. Cheap circuitry all around.

It makes no difference. If they sell it and it's got one of those "CE" European safety stickers on it then it's definitely fine to use.

SeaSonic also have grey boxes....full of japanese caps and decent electrical performance. Don't judge a book by it's cover. CX look fancy but that's about it.

Remind me to get a picture of this thing. Had a single, maybe 20mm fan?

Pretty sure you can disable that, or so I've been told.

There's "fine", and there's how to properly build a gaming PC. You are welcome to advise "fine", I'll stick to bad ass.

And where the fuck is his RAM!!??? The exhaust fan is spinning! That things live!!!

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Oh, there is is. On my phone, tiny screen. Much coffee

It's my brothers system, there was 2 dimms but I borrowed one of them to test some platform for benchmarking

Also @Jumper118 seems to do just fine with the cx500m

Coffee is great!

Yes, yes it is. I put Nutella in mine.

OP, spend the money and get a PSU you never have to worry about. Best investment you'll ever make when it comes to a PC. It will last longer than anything in your build save the case.

I agree. In 2016 there are better PSUs you can buy (although when I got mine you'd be hard stretched).

But I do have evidence that suggests they're good for money than 750s and i3s like people here insist.
