Local network Remote Desktop windows

Go to solution Solved by MeshFile,

If you mean the native windows one, you have to have Windows 7 PRO, I have no money

Also I need one that doesn't use the internet (mine's slow)

That explains it. As previously mentioned, VNC all the way. Just setup firewall rules on that computer to disable Internet connection while allowing LAN. Something like this:

I'm setting up a PC to run antivirus and backup on my NAS b/c the NAS's integrated one stinks, it will be running windows 7 and I'm looking for a remote desktop application that can use the local network rather than the internet like chrome or ShowMyPC to access that PC from my main system. There is a gigabit link between them.
