Hi all,

i just bought a nas pc on ebay for $300.

the specs are

Q6600 cpu, Foxconn Mother Board, 4gb ram,

6x2tb hitachi hdd, antec 300 case,

random psu :S and random raid card.

I wondering what i could do with it, i was thinking using it as a nas, hook it up to a switch and run Ethernet to 2 pc's and a TV with wireless to cover the rest of the pcs and laptops.

heres a diagram

so i want to setup this nas a way to store personal files (probably in a RAID 1) and then Raid 5 the leftovers for games, music, movies etc.

im open to suggestions and any advice.

merry xmas and happy new year
