Random single-color freezing?

Hi,

My computer (seemingly randomly) freezes up, displaying only a single color (it varies, last time was a light brown). So far I've only noticed this while playing Rocket League. I'm not really sure how to diagnose this since it freezes up my entire computer (nothing responds at all). I usually just force shutdown the computer and reboot. All my NVIDIA drivers are up to date. How should I investigate this? Specs are the personal build in my signature.

Usually that is related to GPU. Try running benchmark or other really intensive program. If you can, monitor your GPU temps while doing that. If you experience same type of thing, you may have faulty GPU. In that case, its time for RMA. If you have integrated GPU, try removing GPU and doing same stuff where this usually happends. If it happens again, its something else than GPU.
