Anyone else think there should be a different MM implemented into CSGO for those who party together, and those such as myself who grind the living hell out of MM as a solo player?

See i got a friend who is SMFC, and he told me that he would like to help me out as right now i am MGE after the patch deranked me from DMG, which is fine as it has happened to 95% of players.

So i said ok sure, he had this map he created and i joined, just as a 1v1 kind of peak/aim trainer thing, and i noticed he was way too wide with peaks, not fast enough at his aim, and that i was out gunning him.

So i had a chat with him in Steam chat and said, how on earth are you Supreme?

He just said that i am either a cheater, or a very unlucky guy.

I never replied, and have been thinking about this for a while.

Found a thread on Reddit about the DMG rank.

According to this, many Solo Q people can destroy higher ranks on a 1v1 basis purely because a guy teamed up with skilled players will make it to a higher rank faster than anyone in Solo, now this gave me the thought of why not implement something for us Solo Q players?

It surely would not hurt anything, heck just call it casual MM but leave the ranks in, the team based variant will get 128 tick and be named Competitive Team based MM.

Any thoughts people?

I'll tell you my story, kinda a long one. Hope you read it all :)

I have 2 accounts on CS:GO. On my main I got ranked in silver 4 after my placement games. I quit playing comp since all I would do was rage at my teammates who couldn't even understand it since it was only Russians. So I hopped on spray control-maps. Learned the spray of the guns I used the most. Then jumped on 1V1 arena servers. Where I would play against people of wayyyy higher rank than me. (Usually the bigger part of those server consist of people above DMG) At first I got rekt like sweet baby jesus on christmas eve, but then I started becoming better and better. So I started playing comp again, slowly grinded my way up there and recently hit MGE. (Back to MG1 since that de-ranking BS that is happening).

On my second account I got carried a lot and got ranked in LE right after my 10th game.

To answer ur Q: Yes people can play with other better players to gain rank. They'll gain it slower since it also looks at your kd/a in the game, but they'll slowly rank up. I've seen this first hand on my both accounts. I'd legit go 30/10 against LE players and lose bigtime against MG2 players.

I actually agree with you.  Since there is such a huge player base it might work. But it might just be much harder for the people Q'ing with others to find a game. Which wouldn't be good for the game overall. I was a supreme before the rank changes. I dropped to LE when it happened. I'm now back to LEM. But I honestly bought a smurf account now cause of it. I only  use my main when Im in a party. If you do bad in a game now its almost a guaranteed derank if you don't win.

This would also give people a better idea of how the player in their team is, say a Global Elite in Team Based but only LEM in Solo, just means the guy is a great team player, and can adhere to team ethics.

Yah its a great idea in theory. Its just will it break up the community. It doesn't matter the rank there's always trolls . That could just ruin solo Q completely. I'd post this on the cs:go forum and see what kind of feedback you get.
