Is there any way to change the fan speeds in the ASUS bios? It seems that I can only ignore fan speed, set minimum speeds and fan profile. No actual curve that I can change. I'm using a M5A99FX PRO R2.0.

This is the BIOS I'm looking at.

you need to go to advanced mode and look for q-fan control in the tabs at the top

Yes, found it but then I only see the Q-fan, Low limit and fan setting (performance, silent, normal).

ok that looks like the older asus UEFI, the new one has the option to change fan curves

so if you want to set custom fan curves for your fans you need to do it from within your OS using thermal radar and AI suite (comes on the motherboard CD)

from the UEFI you will only be able to change the default options like normal or performance :(

i dont think so, i think its just a feature on the newer asus boards...

thermal radar is not bad though, i used that for almost 5 years and it worked nicely
