I've been wanting to build a computer for a while and once i saw the budge xeon build i just knew i had to build one

specs:

Supermicro X7DWU board
2 Xeon x5460 processors
intel heatsink cpu coolers
32gb fb ecc ddr2
logisys server case
dell area 51 1000w power supply
a couple of fans for circulation
r7 240 graphics card (will be putting a gt-730 in soon)

I got everything up and running with ubuntu and now i'm having a problem i guess with the power supply. After shutdown it doesn't want to start back up unless i unplug it from the wall and plug it back in. I'm not sure if this is a powersupply problem or not, maybe you guys can help me out. any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated. if you guys want some pics just let me know

wait no why do you want to put in a gt 730 instead? honestly i don't get that man there must be a reason behind. it's not just because you need something to put out a display since you want to change to nvidia right? i'm not trying to convince you to buy an expensive card nor am i trying to push you to either nvidia or amd but i am trying to tell you that a gtx 960 or something in that ballrange will work much better for you than a gt 730. save up man it will pay off no matter if you do productivity or gaming :)
what are the machine going to be used for? and when will we see pics man :D !

I already have a gaming machine so that wasn't the idea behind it, but now i honestly don't know what i want to use it for. I'm not wanting to spend too much so i went with a cheaper graphics card since gaming wasn't the objective. Until I figure out something to use it for I guess I'll just have it doing BOINC

I guess i forgot to answer the last question. I'm putting the gt730 in because i just bought the one i have currently at best buy so i could actually use the computer until i could order one online and then just return the amd. it's saving me about $30 going with the gt730 with 2 gb of gddr5 vs the amd with 2 gb of ddr3
