Third post touching the same topic, but I'm making another one because the build changed so much from the original.

Only those merchants because others don't ship to my location.

I play semi-intensive games, but mainly because my current GPU sucks. I will be playing more demanding AAA games later.

I don't do video editing. I like to have many things open at once (hence the 16 GB of RAM).

What do you think?

I don't want DDR3 if I'm upgrading my PC anyway - I just asked if my build was OK. The AAA games I'll play don't have to be 4K all max settings.

you cant even run tripple a games at max settings at 60 fps with a 980 ti, im just saying if you want best bang for the buck go with that

As I said, sticking with Skylake. Future-proofness is my thing. I don't want my PC outdated in 3 years - I just asked for things like compatibility issues or the build failing terribly.

Oh, and please, take your time to write with normal grammar.

I switched the RAM to this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3000c15

It's 3 GHz RAM and supported by my mobo so it's all good.

is that even possible?

think so

haswell has a bottleneck with ram speed.. fps is improved with 2133mhz ram, i upgraded from 1600mhz to 2400mhz and i found far cry 4 to increase fps by 10-15

same for other games i think,,

I remembered to tell you one thing - 980 Ti is NOT considered "most bang for the buck". The 960/970 IS, however.

the fact that it gets about x2/x3 preformance from a i5 and a 970, pretty much is

also a 380 and a 390 gets more preformance then a 960/970 unless of course your going to be utilizing the cuda for rendering
