For what reason? Are there specific features your current one is lacking?

What Features Dose the Alpha Present?

So you don't have a specific reason to then...

If you already own the Maximus VIII Hero, upgrading to the Hero Alpha isn't worth it. They're pretty much the exact same board. Wait a few years, and upgrade to something new then. The VIII Hero is an awesome new board, what reason could you possibly have to upgrade now?
