Hello, so I was checking prices comparaison for my PSU (Seasonic G series 650W) and I saw reviews, quite alot for me (like 10) about DOA. What should I do, should I still buy it or get another Seasonic series or even go for another brand? I don't want higher than 130$ and want it Semi-modular, 650w. Thanks!

Seasonic will honor the DOA and replace it. There PSUs have a 5 year warranty.

If you want a different PSU that's up to you, I just wouldn't let a few bad eggs ruin it for you.

Yeah I know the 5 year warranty, thats the reason why I am going with them :P But yeah I just wanted to start as soon as I had my shiped order and if it's DOA well... it'l take more time, you know how manny, aproximate?

These are good choices but they are only under $130 after MIR. But I would personally go with the power supply that you chose because it is cheaper than these and it is great.

I would say well under 1%...

I do not have actual statistics but, seasonic are among the top Power Supply Manufacturers and have a rather in depth QA test.

Both the power supplies @mgsstar linked to above are also very high quality.

Chances of getting a DOA item are fairly rare but, they do happen. In my last personal build my RAM was DOA. Only time it has ever happened to me in my 5+ builds.

I'd rather take the newer higher effiency http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151121 in that prize range. But the g-650 is also a valid choice if the OP doesn't want to go over 130$ :)

I changed my mind, made another post about and was wondering about this one. Slack on gold for bronze, and get 100w more for only 10$, staying with the awesome Seasonic company. http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=66286&vpn=SS-750AM&manufacture=Seasonic%20Electronics What you guys think?

That's a good psu but I don't know what system you're planning to run with it.
